Last summer's grand finale for the city's summer concert program might not have been so grand without a $15,000 foundation grant toward furthering the cultural arts in the city. This year, the city received $10,000 toward the cause from the Leo Freedman Foundation. John Dade, chairman of the city's Fine Arts Commission, accepted the grant at last week's City Council meeting. "It means quite a bit," Dade said. "Without that funding, we couldn't put on the major concert series we have."
