In response to "California's Beleaguered Coastline: Rapacious Developers Ignore the Law," by Madelyn Glickfeld, Opinion, Nov. 5: Describing the unprecedented wave of destruction at the hands of pillaging developers, Glickfeld, a member of the California Coastal Commission, says of our coastline, "Wildlife habitat is being irretrievably lost, coastal water quality is being degraded, public facilities are being endangered and lives and property are put at risk."

KFAC is going off the air this month, and I'm mad as hell. No, don't write me letters saying it hasn't gone off the air, that it's just changing format. As far as I'm concerned, KFAC has gone off the air, and I don't feel much like sending mellow thank yous for all the years of good music it has given me. And it has.
