Hey, Justin Bieber, One Direction has your back. In a turn of events that surely has every teeny-bopper and tween heart aflutter around the world, members of the British boy band have backed up the Biebs after a trip to their homeland pretty much rocked the singer's world. The YouTube sensation-turned-pop star got a fair share of media scrutiny during the London leg of his "Believe" tour, which included ridiculed outfits , a lackluster 19th birthday, showing up two hours late to a concert, a run-in with a paparazzo , collapsing during a show and criticism over a Portugal concert cancellation.

At 14, Elle Fanning is already a seasoned actor. In "Ginger & Rosa," her 17th feature film, she plays Ginger, a young girl trying to cope with the turmoil of relationships and geopolitics in early 1960s London. She spoke by phone from Cape Town, South Africa. You told director Sally Potter that you felt like you grew up during "Ginger & Rosa. " What did you mean by that? I first read the script when I was 12, and I auditioned when I was 12, which was much younger than the age Sally had initially written in the script.

With the surging interest in natural wines, a budding vintner in London is jumping into the fray at Forty Hall community vineyard in the borough of Enfield. The Guardian newspaper reports that the only commercial vineyard inside the M25 motorway that encircles London is hoping to produce London's first organic wine since the Middle Ages. In this climate of bone-chilling cold, it's a challenge. This month, the Guardian's Patrick Barkham reports, 50 volunteers will prune 7,000 vines by hand.

Justin Bieber reportedly collapsed Thursday night after suffering breathing problems while playing the third of four shows planned for London's O2 arena. After receiving oxygen from emergency personnel, the 19-year-old returned to finish his final four songs before heading to the hospital to be checked out. Bieber told the audience he wasn't feeling well before he stumbled backstage, according to TMZ and the Daily Mail . He fainted backstage, not onstage, his rep told the Associated Press.

Justin Bieber is 19 and, for the first round of his birthday celebration, stripped down to show off his trim body. Because that's exactly what you do when you get a year older, right. Right? "Great show! Now gonna go celebrate 19! Thanks," the birthday boy tweeted late Thursday about his "Believe" tour performance in Birmingham, England, before heading out to party. The "Beauty and the Beat" singer left the show clothed but arrived at his London hotel shirtless, with his tighty whities in full view above his sagging blue leather pants.

A new play about artist Ai Weiwei's secret detention in 2011 will premiere in April in London. Written by British playwright Howard Brenton, "#aiww: The Arrest of Ai Weiwei" is set to open at the Hampstead Theatre. The title of the play is a reference to Ai's Twitter handle. The artist, who is a regular user of the social networking site, has gotten into trouble with Chinese officials a number of times due to his online activism. In 2011, Ai was arrested by Beijing officials while attempting to travel to Hong Kong.
