Los Angeles brims with traditions this time of year, and every Christmas Eve for more than half a century, the city's many faiths have shared one stage. The annual Los Angeles County Holiday Celebration, which started as a 12-hour neighborhood talent show, will showcase 23 local music and dance groups from cultures near and far during a three-hour concert that's free to all and is broadcast on TV, radio and the Web. "It's really become what you do in L.A. on Christmas Eve, even if you don't celebrate Christmas," said Adam Davis, managing director of the Los Angeles County Arts Commission, which produces the program.

Henry Winkler and Elayne Boosler will host the 45th annual Los Angeles County Holiday Celebration on Friday at the Music Center. More than 40 performing arts groups from throughout the county, including Mariachi Sol de Mexico, the Gay Men's Chorus of Los Angeles, Orphean Circus, the Greater Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church Inspirational Choir and the Jazz Tap Ensemble, will be featured in this six-hour seasonal music and dance show. More than 40 musical ensembles, choirs and dance troupes will perform Saturday at the 45th annual Los Angeles County Holiday Celebration at the Music Center. Six celebrity hosts will take turns as master of ceremonies at this free six-hour seasonal extravaganza: singer-songwriter Neil Sedaka, dancer-choreographer Debbie Allen, television personality Mark Walberg, singer-actress Gloria Loring, ventriloquist Ronn Lucas and pianist-composer Jim Brickman.
