Lux Interior, frontman for horror punk outfit the Cramps, gained a loyal following over the band's decades-long career as much for his gender-bending visual aesthetic and raucous live performances as the group's groundbreaking music. Henry Rollins, vocalist for Black Flag and Rollins Band, spoken-word artist and radio host, spoke to The Times' August Brown about his memories of the punk rock icon, who died of a heart condition. Lux Interior, the singer, songwriter and founding member of the pioneering New York City horror-punk band the Cramps, died Tuesday. He was 60. The dates for the stay are Oct. 20 to Dec. 31, except Nov. 5 to 12.

NEIMAN MARCUS launched its latest luxury storefront this month with a gala set amid flora, fauna, feathers and -- as all good parties go -- a few wild beasts. The "jungle" was deep in the heart of the Valley at Westfield Topanga mall in Canoga Park, where the well-heeled and curious came for a first look at the store's expansive 120,000 square feet. The Dallas-based retailer's sixth California outpost joins the Beverly Hills flagship that was long the company's sole L.A. County presence.
