The last time audiences saw Megan Fox, she was devouring her classmates as a demonic cheerleader in the September horror-comedy movie "Jennifer's Body." Now the 23-year old sex symbol du jour is sinking her teeth into a new challenge. According to Women's Wear Daily, Fox has signed on to appear in ads and billboards for Emporio Armani as part of a global marketing initiative for the Italian fashion house's underwear and jeans lines. Best known for appearing in form-hugging outfits in Michael Bay's blockbuster "Transformers" movies, Fox replaces ex-Spice Girl Victoria Beckham as figurehead for the Emporio Armani underwear and Armani jeans campaigns.

The scene was one of barely controlled pandemonium at the Toronto International Film Festival earlier this month. A crush of paparazzi and screaming teenage fans you could hear from a block away had mobbed the Canadian capital's Ryerson Theatre for the premiere of "Jennifer's Body," the horror-comedy written by Oscar-winning "Juno" screenwriter Diablo Cody. But the glitzy event's undeniable focal point was a femme fatale of a different stripe: Megan Fox. The 5-foot-3 screen siren worked the red carpet like a veteran, frequently turning and posing so the asymmetrical hem of her strapless mini-dress showed as much bare thigh as possible.

Rumors that Megan Fox is pregnant popped up again Monday, but the actress and husband Brian Austin Green still haven't confirmed or denied the news. In late March, Star magazine cited an unnamed source who said Fox, 25, and Green, 38, had just found out about the pregnancy and were telling only “close friends and family members” at that time. E! Online put its stamp on the news Monday, citing an exclusive, unnamed, nondescript source as giving confirmation of the baby on board - and saying pretty much nothing else.

Jennifer's Body 20th Century Fox, $29.99; Blu-ray, $39.99 "Juno" screenwriter Diablo Cody seems like the perfect person to tackle teen horror, since she's pop-culture-savvy enough to be aware of all the genre's clichés. But from the moment in "Jennifer's Body" when dweeby high school student Needy (Amanda Seyfried) says that she and her cheerleader BFF Jennifer (Megan Fox) are "our yearbook pictures, no more, no less," it's clear that Cody and director Karyn Kusama are more interested in surfaces than depth.
