Beyonce has been running afoul of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals all year, at least. First there was her fur coat at the presidential inauguration. Then there was her Super Bowl costume, which used leather and exotic skins. Now it's some custom-made PMK (Perfectly Made Kicks) wedge sneakers that incorporate ostrich, sting ray, anaconda and crocodile skins. "These custom-made kicks come with a high price and it's paid by the various animals who were beaten and skinned alive or cruelly farmed and killed," PETA said in a statement.

Derek Lam is the latest designer to participate in the Kohl's' DesigNation collaboration series. His limited-edition spring collection of misses' apparel and swimwear will hit Kohl's stores and Kohls.com in April. Highlights include a button-down shirt dress in a wood-grain print ($70), a blue hooded snap trench jacket ($70) and a long pink drawstring skirt ($54). There are also print pants, knit tops, long maxi dresses and a shawl-collared vest. Lam drew influence from a recent trip to Rio de Janeiro, according to a news release.

Barely a mile from where James Franco, the wizard in Disney's new "Oz: The Great and Powerful," was recently giving interviews sat a billboard touting a middle-school stage production. " 'The Wizard of Oz' is coming!" it proclaimed, an endearing promotion that the master shyster himself might appreciate. Down the street, some of Hollywood's top actors were talking up their $200 million plus production of "Oz," but inside these halls pre-adolescent cowardly lions and scarecrows were dutifully rehearsing their numbers.

Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis are having a real-people Christmas this year in Iowa, Kutcher's home base. Glamorous celebrity activities have include trips to Bed Bath & Beyond and a sporting-goods store in Cedar Rapids, Celebuzz reported , as well as a stop for frozen yogurt Saturday night, according to People. The "Two and a Half Men" star and his newest squeeze "were picking out gifts for his family,” a BB&B employee told Celebuzz. "They bought robes, slippers and candles.

Maybe Friday really was the end of the world: Ashton Kutcher finally filed for divorce from Demi Moore, more than a year after the actress said she was ending it with her allegedly unfaithful husband. The papers were filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, according to People, in one of our favorite celebrity moves - the discreet pre-holiday news dump. Irreconcilable differences, of course, and Ashton's not seeking spousal support nor asking that Demi be denied any, says the mag. No kids together simplifies things as well.

Mila Kunisis this year's sexiest woman alive, according to Esquire magazine - but then, we're not telling Ashton Kutcher anything he doesn't know, right? The 29-year-old, Ukrainian-born actress follows in the footsteps of last year's sexiest woman alive, Rihanna. In which case we weren't telling Chris Brown anything he doesn't know. But that's another story. Alas, the interview strikes a blow to those who thought they saw signs last year that Kunis might be a rare conservative among the Hollywood ranks.
