The City Council will vote on a historical landmark program during its meeting tonight. The city's Heritage Committee has proposed placing signs at two historical landmarks within the city during each fiscal year. The committee also has proposed the creation of a Historic Landmarks and Points of Interest brochure to guide residents and visitors to portions of the city that have played important roles in the development of the area.
