Five motorcyclists heading home from a bikers gathering died in a pileup that closed a two-lane stretch of a major highway for several hours. The unidentified bikers were heading south on U.S. 101 about 1:20 p.m. Sunday when a pickup truck in the northbound lane rear-ended a Jeep Cherokee and sent it into oncoming traffic near this town 125 miles north of San Francisco. Four motorcycles crashed into the Jeep. Four male bikers and a female passenger were killed.
