Netter acquires, develops and produces television series and movies, and provides 3-D and special-effects animation services to the entertainment industry. The company's clients include Warner Bros. and Turner Network Television.

Netter Digital shares leaped 38%, rising 63 cents, to close at $2.25 on the Nasdaq Small-Cap Market. The North Hollywood-based company did not give details of the options it might be considering.

Phoenix-based W.B. McKee Securities Inc. was the managing underwriter. The proceeds will be used for working capital, to buy equipment and creative rights, set up a merchandising unit and repay loans.

Revenues were $3.4 million, down from $8.2 million. For the year that ended June 30, Netter reported a net loss of $709,000 compared to a net income of $512,000 for the previous year. Revenues were $23.3 million compared to $28.4 million.
