Even if agriculture isn't your thing, there's plenty to do and see at the Orange County Fair. The menu includes a changing array of exhibits and demonstrations on everything from water sports to classic cars at the Arlington Theater and nightly concerts by well-known entertainers at the Pacific Amphitheatre. Below are a few highlights; stop by one of the fair information booths for a complete schedule. Unless otherwise noted, all activities are free with fair admission.

Brock Meastas, 9, was up from San Clemente for the day with five friends, determined to eat snow cones and ride the Ferris wheel and his favorite, the "Zipper thingy." "You go upside-down. It's scary," he said, admitting that, yes, screaming is involved.
