The hype about Wisconsin's size and power was just that. Georgia dominated the Outback Bowl with quickness and precision. Robert Edwards ran for three touchdowns and Mike Bobo finished a near-perfect passing performance with 19 consecutive completions to lead No. 12 Georgia to a 33-6 victory over Wisconsin on Thursday. Edwards ran for 110 yards, while Bobo was 26 of 28 passing for 267 yards and a touchdown to earn the most valuable player award.

Iowa's 45-year drought in January bowl games is over, the Hawkeyes have consecutive 10-win seasons for the first time, and Coach Kirk Ferentz and his players can finally stop thinking about last year's loss in the Orange Bowl. No. 13 Iowa's 37-17 rout of No. 17 Florida on Thursday in the Outback Bowl ensured all that. "This is very gratifying and very rewarding. This is one more hurdle for us to climb," Ferentz said. "None of us had a good taste in our mouths after the game last January.

Alabama's Dwayne Rudd returned a fourth-quarter interception 88 yards for a touchdown and 16th-ranked Alabama closed out the Gene Stallings era with a 17-14 victory over No. 15 Michigan in the Outback Bowl on Wednesday. Michigan (8-4) was threatening to build on a 6-3 lead in the fourth quarter when Alabama's Kelvin Sigler hit Brian Griese as the quarterback released a pass.
