Money from Swiss bank accounts belonging to Polish Jews who died in the Holocaust was not paid as compensation to Swiss citizens whose assets were seized by the Communists after World War II, the Polish Press Agency said. It quoted the Warsaw Foreign Ministry as saying a special cross-ministry committee reached that initial finding after probing 1949 agreements between Warsaw and Switzerland.
