Jerome Kersey had 29 points and 10 rebounds and Clyde Drexler added 12 of his 27 in the third quarter as the Portland Trail Blazers defeated the New Jersey Nets, 117-106, Sunday at Portland. Mike McGee led the Nets with 33 points, and Walter Berry added 15. Steve Johnson scored 16 for Portland.

Jack Sikma scored 16 of his 30 points in the fourth quarter as the Milwaukee Bucks defeated the Portland Trail Blazers, 107-104, Sunday night, snapping a four-game losing streak. Sikma scored 10 of his 16 points in the fourth quarter on free throws, and the Bucks made 13 consecutive free throw attempts in the final 4:49. Clyde Drexler scored 36 points and Terry Porter added 25, including two three-pointers in the final quarter for the Trail Blazers.
