The Dodgers are leaning toward moving their television broadcasts from Fox Sports to Time Warner Cable starting in 2014, according to people familiar with the matter but not authorized to discuss it. The Dodgers have not made a final decision, the people said. The Dodgers also have yet to reach agreement with Major League Baseball on how the structure of a deal would affect the team's contribution to the MLB revenue-sharing system, according to a person familiar with the discussions but not authorized to comment on them.

Update: The Clippers, winners of 13 in a row, have defeated the Nuggets five of the last six times. The Nuggets lead the NBA in offensive rebounding (13.9 a game), second-chance points (17.9). and points in the paint (55.6). The Nuggets are third in rebounding (45.9). Six players average double figures in scoring, led by Danilo Gallinari (15.6)

USC next: Saturday at Georgia, 10:30 a.m. PST, Prime Ticket - Like USC, Georgia (3-7) has not been able to emulate the football team's success. The Bulldogs have lost to, among others, Youngstown State and Iona. They also fell to Indiana and UCLA at a tournament in Brooklyn. The Bulldogs are led by sophomore guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, who is averaging 17.4 points and 7.2 rebounds.

Update: The Clippers have defeated the Kings four consecutive games, and five out of six. The Kings broke a five-game losing streak with a win Wednesday night over the Golden State Warriors. FoxSports West and Prime Ticket will show classic Kings and Ducks games from their respective Stanley Cup runs in place of games that have been canceled through Oct. 24 because of the NHL lockout. Games from the Ducks' 2003 championship run will be shown in a block the next two Tuesdays, and games from the Kings' recent run will be shown the next two Wednesdays. A Fox spokeswoman said each block will consist of two games of 2 1/2 hours each, starting with the first round. If more games are canceled more “classic” games are likely to be aired.

Update: Chivas USA's flickering playoff hopes — as well as its equally shaky confidence — took a huge hit in Saturday's loss to Seattle, with Chivas givingup a franchise-record six goals. Wednesday's game in New England is the second of three games for Chivas in a nine-day span.
