Prince William graduated with honors from St. Andrews University in Scotland on Thursday in a traditional ceremony attended by his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, and father, Prince Charles. One of only three British royals in recent history to graduate from college, the 23-year-old prince earned a Scottish master's degree, the equivalent of a U.S. bachelor's degree, in geography after four years of study.

A slightly nervous-looking Prince William launched his army career when he entered the Royal Military Academy at Sandhurst. The second in line to the British throne is following younger brother Prince Harry into the elite academy to train to become an officer.

Prince William of Wales turns 7 Wednesday, and he is reported to be a changed child. Wills, as his mother Princess Diana calls him, became known as the "Prince of Wails" because of his king-size temper tantrums, but he is shedding his willful image and turning into a little charmer with the knowledge he has a big future, People magazine reports this week. "He's incredibly confident for a little boy his age," said a recent unidentified visitor to the royal family's estate in Highgrove.

Three-year-old Prince William made royal history today when he began kindergarten in a $280-a-semester school run by a bishop's daughter in the basement of her west London home. William, first-born son of Prince Charles and Princess Diana, is the first heir to the British throne to receive his preschool education at a kindergarten. Charles received his early education at Buckingham Palace.

A barefooted Princess Diana and an aproned Prince Charles didn't fare too well in the parents' race at their sons' school, but it was the spanking that Di gave Prince William that made the news. Diana shed her shoes before running across the turf in red culottes and a striped sweater, placing third or fourth in the mothers' race Wednesday, depending on who was doing the judging. Charles was well back in the field of fathers who donned aprons for a race.

Prince William and Kate Middleton, once the world's most talked-about college sweethearts, ended years of speculation by announcing their engagement Tuesday. The second-in-line to the British throne and his longtime girlfriend, both 28, intend to get married next year; exact date (sometime in the spring or summer), venue (big) and guest list (monstrous) all TBA. With no royal or aristocratic pedigree, Middleton will become the first commoner in centuries to marry a presumptive heir to the throne.

Prince William and his wife, Catherine, the former Kate Middleton, baptized their 3-month-old baby Wednesday and have unveiled four highly anticipated official family portraits that were shot by celebrity photographer Jason Bell after the 35-minute ceremony. The tiny prince, who will eventually be named the head of the Church of England when he is crowned, was christened during a small private ceremony at the Chapel Royal in London's St. James's Palace by the Archbishop of Canterbury , Justin Welby.

Prince George, the firstborn son of Britain's Prince William and his wife Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, was christened in London on Wednesday. The increasingly handsome 3-month-old baby boy, who will eventually be named the head of the Church of England when he is crowned, was christened during a private ceremony at the Chapel Royal in London's St. James's Palace. Four generations of the royal family and a small group of family and friends, including the future monarch's seven godparents, joined the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge at the ceremony, which was conducted by Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, according to World Now. PHOTOS: Prince George christened Wills, 31, wearing a dark suit and blue tie, arrived carrying his son, who gave his first royal wave to the crowd.
