Leaders of the Evansville Museum in Indiana plan to sell a work of glass art by Pablo Picasso that sat unnoticed in storage for nearly 50 years and was only recently determined to be genuine. The museum's board of trustees decided to allow New York auction house Guernsey's to sell the artwork - titled "Seated Woman With Red Hat" - because of the costs to display, secure, preserve and insure the piece, board President Steven Krohn told the Evansville Courier & Press. The layered, fired glass piece was donated to the museum in 1963.

Tinker Bell provided the animated honors for Disney Wonder in 1999, and a holographic form of Fiona from " Shrek " did likewise for Allure of the Seas in 2010. Now comes Priscilla Presley, who will be godmother to the steamboat American Queen when it's christened April 27 at its home port of Memphis, Tenn.

Priscilla Presley's life has been such a public drama revolving around her teen-age involvement and marriage to the out-of-control King of rock 'n' roll, that six years ago she was the last person you expected to see in a comedy. The TV projects she had produced, an adaptation of her memoirs, "Elvis and Me," and "Elvis," a series about his life, seemed much more appropriate for rock 'n' roll's most famous widow, a role she's played despite their divorce.
