Atlantic Entertainment Group, the largest private independent film and television company in the United States, said Friday that it agreed to merge with Prism Entertainment Corp., a publicly owned video distributor. The merger will create a full-service entertainment company with $70 million in annual revenue. Spokesmen for the companies at their Los Angeles headquarters would not give details of the deal.

Costner Sues Video Firm: Actor Kevin Costner and Universal Pictures Inc. filed suit in U.S. District Court in Los Angeles on Monday charging a video firm with trying to profit from "Field of Dreams," a hit movie in which Costner starred. The suit said Prism Entertainment Corp. is distributing videocassettes of a 1985 film, "Chasing Dreams" in which Costner played a minor role, by linking it with "Field of Dreams."
