A woman in the gallery saw Bob Tway's name on the leader board Friday afternoon but didn't recognize it. So she turned to a friend for some help. "How do you pronounce that name?" she said. "I'm not sure," the answer came back. "I don't know if I've ever seen that one before." How quickly they forget. It was just two years ago that Bob Tway--sounds like sway for anyone else who's having trouble remembering--exploded upon the professional golf scene in just his second season.

AUGUSTA, Ga. -- So Tiger Woods is still stuck on 13 major championships and looking forward to the chance to get another one in June at the U.S. Open at Torrey Pines, where he will once again be reminded he's chasing Jack Nicklaus' record 18 majors. Here's another reminder, one that he doesn't like to hear: Woods is edging closer to Nicklaus in another category -- finishing second in majors.

It was a change of venue. Casey Martin took his case from the courtroom to the golf course Thursday and nervously unloaded his clubs from the trunk. Followed by a horde of reporters, photographers and cameramen that formed a sweaty, notepad-packing, boom-wielding mass of close to 150, Martin started quickly, finished slowly and shot a three-under-par 69 in the first round of the Nike Greater Austin Open. Afterward, Martin was asked how he felt. "I feel fine," he said.
