Fashion reality shows have had a big payoff for some participants, catapulting them to full-fledged stardom in the world of style. Christian Siriano was a design student who had apprenticed with industry bigs Alexander McQueen and Vivienne Westwood before he won "Project Runway's" Season 4. Since then, his independent label has become a powerhouse, showing in New York each season, appearing in fashion magazines around the world and dressing stars...

Rachel Zoe might be the in-demand celebrity stylist who made famous her own brand of bohemian chic several years ago among such partygoing celebutantes as Nicole Richie, Lindsay Lohan and Mischa Barton. But it was her two warring assistants, Brad Goreski and Taylor Jacobson, who found themselves at the center of the action during the first season of Bravo's buzzed-about reality series "The Rachel Zoe Project." Goreski, 32, a former Vogue magazine staffer with a penchant for bow ties, became the frequent target of Jacobson's fiery temper, leading to any number of emotional meltdowns that quickly relegated Zoe's eye for wearable haute couture to the background.

We want to see your Passover seders! The prayer books, the candles, the obligatory Manischewitz wine on the table.... We want to see it all. President Obama celebrated with a special silver plate he received from Sara Netanyahu, wife of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, during his recent visit to Israel; Drake had a traditional table setting; and stylist and designer Rachel Zoe went with white napkins, candles and plates for the occasion....

Crystal Harris is showing off another engagement ring from Hugh Hefner -- the man she famously left just days before they were supposed to marry last year. Now they are engaged again. Is it true love or is it a publicity stunt? [Los Angeles Times] Rachel Zoe's clothing line launched with much fanfare in 2011, but interest seems to be fading, at least in bricks-and-mortar stores. British department store Selfridges has dropped the apparel (but kept the shoes), Saks is offering it online only and Bloomingdale's seems to have cut back on the quantity available in-store.

NEW YORK -- Russia had a bit of a fashion moment here this week, inspiring the fall 2013 collections of Ralph Lauren and several other designers, including Los Angeles-based Rozae Nichols. Nichols showed her fall 2013 Clover Canyon collection, titled "Winter Palace," during New York Fashion Week at Lincoln Center on Wednesday night, complete with ballet dancers en pointe cast as models. The look: Russian to the max. Clover Canyon is all about vivid original prints, to which Nichols brought Russia's beautiful excess, including the opulence of the Hermitage, the Ballets Russes, graphic Constructivism, the czars' crown jewels, glittering chandeliers and Faberge eggs.

She's not quite over having been called "a pox on humanity" by the New York Times, but Rachel Zoe, stylist to the stars and now a reality TV star herself, says her Bravo series has at least given her haters something to gnaw on. "The Rachel Zoe Project" has, if nothing else, shown the waifish fashionista, notorious for her tiny frame and for formerly outfitting party girls from Nicole Richie to Lindsay Lohan, to be an ambitious, Starbucks-dependent student...
