A Las Vegas company said Friday that it has acquired American Custom Components Inc., a developer and manufacturer of electronic connectors for computers, in a reverse stock swap valued at $35 million. Under the deal, Rainbow Bridge Services, a shell company that had been looking for an acquisition, will move to Anaheim and change its name to American Custom Components. All 25 employees will remain at American Custom's headquarters in Anaheim.

American Custom Components, a designer and maker of specialty electronic components, said Tuesday that it has tentatively agreed to be purchased by a Las Vegas company. Rainbow Bridge Services Inc. said that it signed a letter of intent to acquire the Anaheim company for an undisclosed price. The companies said they expect to complete a final agreement and close the deal within four weeks.

American Custom Components Inc. has acquired Caribbean Electronics Ltd., a West Indies company. Financial terms were not disclosed. American Custom Components said Thursday it will produce cable assemblies and components for its shelf price tag system at the 12,000-square-foot facility in St. Lucia. Last week, Rainbow Bridge Services Inc. completed a reverse acquisition of American Custom Components. Rainbow Bridge has filed to change its name to American Custom Components.
