Sometimes, Chatsworth High's Ashley Shelton gets eclipsed by teammate Liz Sun. In his 18 seasons as Buena High girls' basketball coach, Joe Vaughan has a 396-37 record. He has never lost more than four games in a season. That didn't mean much to Peninsula High, the nation's No. 1 team. The Panthers whipped Buena, 83-59, in a nonleague game at Ventura College on Saturday night. "I don't think the score showed the intensity of the game on the floor," said Peninsula All-American center Jeffra Gausepohl, who had a game-high 20 points, 10 rebounds and four blocks.
