The San Fernando City Council has voted to cut the prices the city charges for use of its various recreation facilities. "We found that the facilities weren't being used as much as they were a few years ago, and we thought it's probably because the fees were too high," said Ed Montan, director of the city's Recreation and Community Services Department. The fees are charged to youth athletic clubs and other, usually nonprofit, organizations.
