A proposal to build a recreational center for children and senior citizens in Calabasas has been put on hold because of possible fire hazards until the owner submits plans for a second driveway. Plans to build the 5,475-square-foot facility at the corner of Old Topanga Canyon and Dry Canyon Cold Creek roads were approved by the Planning Commission last month, pending review by the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
