Former Mayor Nancy Buffum, accused of running up private bills on a city credit card, has been convicted of five felonies. Buffum, 50, who stepped down as mayor soon after the allegations surfaced in June, faces a possible eight-year prison sentence. She was removed from the City Council upon her conviction Friday. She is to be sentenced March 5.
