Delphi Information Systems Inc., a Westlake Village company that markets computer systems to insurance brokers and agents, earned $318,000 in its first quarter ended June 30, in contrast with a year-earlier loss of $660,000. The company attributed the turnaround to increased sales to large brokers and lower costs. Its revenue totaled $13.6 million, up 62% from $8.41 million a year earlier. In December, 1991, Delphi acquired Redshaw Inc.

Delphi Information Systems Inc. reported a fiscal second-quarter profit of $209,000, against a year-earlier loss of $119,000, on a 16% increase in revenue. In the quarter that ended Sept. 30, Delphi, a Westlake Village provider of computer systems to independent insurance agents and brokers, said its revenue climbed to $11.4 million from $9.82 million a year earlier. The higher revenue reflects Delphi's acquisition late last year of Redshaw Inc.

Delphi Information Systems Inc., a Westlake Village-based supplier of software for the insurance industry, reported a profit of $204,000 for its fiscal third quarter ended Dec. 31, up from $33,000 a year earlier. The higher earnings came on a 4% decline in revenue, to $11.8 million from $12.3 million. For the nine months ended Dec. 31, Delphi's posted earnings of $731,000, in contrast to a loss of $745,000 in the same period a year earlier.
