The state attorney general's office pushed ahead Friday with an accusation of gross negligence and sexual misconduct against prominent Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Renato Calabria, asking an administrative body to set a hearing on the matter. The Italian-born Calabria has offices in Rome and Milan as well as Westlake Village, Rancho Mirage and Beverly Hills.

Actress Sharon Stone claims a Beverly Hills surgeon slandered and libeled her by allegedly telling magazines that he performed cosmetic surgery on her famous face. The lawsuit cites articles in Us Weekly and In Touch magazines that raise the question of whether Stone had a face-lift and suggest it was done by plastic surgeon Renato Calabria. The "Basic Instinct" star maintains that such allegations damaged her reputation and hurt her ability to find work.

FOREVER YOUNG: A woman identified in court papers only as "E.V." sued her plastic surgeon and KABC-TV, alleging that they invaded her privacy by showing her "before" and "after" photos to "millions" on the Nov. 23 broadcast of the Channel 7 evening news. E.V. seeks unspecified damages from Dr. Renato Calabria and ABC, claiming in her Los Angeles Superior Court suit that she had refused three separate requests, made through the doctor's staff, to allow her photos to be publicized.
