Holy man or holy terror, the Rev. Michael Jackson is raising a ruckus in Inglewood. Just last month, two pipe bombs exploded outside his ramshackle drug rehabilitation center on 102nd Street. No arrests have been made, and police say the motive for the bombings is unknown. But the list of Jackson's critics is a long one. There are drug dealers, whom Jackson chases off the streets, and motel owners, whom he pickets over prostitution.

Grandparents Day--Children 12 and under admitted free when accompanied by a grandparent "Cowboy Boots and Country Roots" is the theme of this year's Antelope Valley Fair and Alfalfa Festival at the Antelope Valley Fairgrounds, 155 E. Rejecting cries that a proposed firing range in Inglewood will let gangbangers sharpen their skills and teach children that guns are OK, the City Council voted 3 to 2 to deny a last-minute appeal to keep the gun club from opening. By the same margin, the council had voted in December to allow businessman Sam Kash to open a firing range and gun club on Manchester Boulevard near the San Diego Freeway.
