Nike's footwear collaboration with Givenchy creative director Riccardo Tisci, which had its bricks and mortar premiere in New York City late last month, is set to hit the Web on Friday. According to Nike's website, four silhouettes of the Nike + R.T. Air Force 1 collection will be available online beginning April 11. Although the announcement does not include a specific list of e-tailers (besides its own nike.com e-commerce portal), luxury men's website Mr. Porter has been touting the arrival of the collection since midweek.

Actor Matthew McConaughey will launch a new clothing line called JKL . McConaughey partnered with Canadian-based Grand National Apparel on the mainly sportswear-based collection. A portion of the sales from JKL will go to benefit McConaughey's charity the just keep livin foundation, which supports after-school fitness and wellness programs at inner-city schools. [ Yahoo ] Macy's has launched a new Keds apparel line at Macy's stores nationwide and online at Macys.com and Keds.com.

PARIS -- In his fall collection shown at Paris Fashion Week on Sunday, Riccardo Tisci, the man who turned Bambi print sweatshirts and fierce magnetic tusk earrings into trends, turned his attention away from the street and toward a new sophistication. Where his last few runway shows were full-on entertainment extravaganzas with live musical guests and model choreography, this one was more intimate. The straightforward runway presentation put the spotlight on the clothes, or more specifically, the fine details.

PARIS -- Kanye West, Kim Kardashian, Ciara and Lily Collins were among the starry crowd at the Givenchy show Sunday night at Paris Fashion Week, where designer Riccardo Tisci installed a five-car pileup for a runway centerpiece, complete with a wrecked Jaguar and Mercedes-Benz, and set the show to a live tribal drum beat, courtesy of a group of musicians in the rafters. The makeup was also dramatic, namely glittery masks that weren't masks at all, but hundreds of individual Swarovski crystals applied to models' faces.

PARIS -- An organ solo. A procession of models in short dresses with wispy, wing-like panels pinned at their backs. No doubt, Riccardo Tisci had his Catholic roots in mind when he designed his spring-summer 2013 Givenchy collection, shown Sunday night during Paris Fashion Week. But he was also worshiping at the church of couture, paying homage to the old master Hubert de Givenchy, who founded his French fashion house in 1952. The inspiration: The 1960s Givenchy archives, the traditional dress of nuns and the style of Italian architect Carlo Molino.

Remember when stars dressed themselves for the red carpet, and when personal style and glamorous gaffes (Cher, Barbra Streisand) were part of the award show viewing experience? The red carpet lost some of its luster when celebrity dressing turned into big business. A-listers turned out in droves for the Costume Institute's annual gala Monday at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, which took on a punk theme this year.
