Riverside officials are seeking state funding for an experimental telecommuting work center for employees of several private companies in Orange County, Riverside's transportation chief said this week. Jack Reagan, executive director of the Riverside Transportation Commission, said the work center would be in the Riverside-Corona area and would allow company employees to use computers and fax machines there instead of driving on the Riverside Freeway to offices in Orange County.
