This has not been a good season for a place that bills itself as a Caribbean oasis where guests pay as much as $1,700 a day for sun and tranquillity. For their money, tourists seeking refuge from London damp and Manhattan snow instead got rain nearly every day this week, along with clouds that hid the sun. And then there were the murders, what some here are calling "slaughter in paradise."
