VS. DALLAS When: 7:30. Where: Staples Center. On the air: TV: FS West; Radio: 1150. Records: Kings 42-25-6; Stars 32-28-14. Record vs. Stars: 5-0-0. Update: The Kings have lost two in a row and are only 5-5-2 since the Olympic break. But their post-Vancouver sluggishness is probably more of a threat to their playoff seeding than it is to making the postseason. Paul Hackett has been coach at USC for, let's see, about six hours now, and he hasn't won a single game. Isn't it time for Randy Harvey, Chris Dufresne, Robyn Norwood and Bill Plaschke to point out that he has never beaten UCLA, never taken the team to a bowl game and hasn't signed a single recruit? Spend the same amount of time on him that you did on John Robinson and you might have Hackett out of there by spring practice. PAUL TAGLIA Palos Verdes Estates Paul Hackett!
