In all of film history, there are few characters iconic enough to speak across generations and national divide. One of those is the Terminator, a grim hallucination from the future, a totem of invincible, implacable masculinity. "Everybody on the planet can tell you the Terminator wears a black leather jacket," says director Jonathan Mostow. "This character is so burned into our movie consciousness. The Rockies pounded reliever Matt Herges (1-4) for three hits and three runs in 1 2/3 innings.
