Beatles Wives' Project: "Nobody's Child: Romanian Angel Appeal," an all-star album benefiting Romanian orphans, will be released July 24 on Warner Bros. records. The project was organized by George Harrison's wife, Olivia, and other Beatle spouses. The album will feature Stevie Wonder, the Traveling Wilburys, Guns N' Roses, Eric Clapton, the Bee Gees, Elton John and several other artists.

Pop star Madonna turned down an invitation to help launch a charity record for Romanian orphans today and went jogging in Hyde Park instead. Olivia Harrison, chairwoman of the Romanian Angel Appeal, invited Madonna to join her husband, former Beatle George Harrison, and his fellow ex-Beatle, Ringo Starr, at a Hyde Park Hotel luncheon to introduce the record "Nobody's Child." But Madonna, who is staying at the hotel, went for a run in the park surrounded by eight burly bodyguards.
