Rosemary Farms, the only commercial egg producer in Santa Barbara County, will keep special measures in place to thwart exotic Newcastle disease, despite the end of a state and federal quarantine. Since late last year, Rosemary Farms has operated under a quarantine to halt the spread of the poultry disease. State and federal officials announced this week that the California quarantine is over.
