"American Idol" host Ryan Seacrest has listed his gated Hollywood Hills estate for $14.95 million. The 10,000-square-foot Mediterranean, built in 1974, sits on nearly an acre of hilltop with canyon and city views. Remodeled during Seacrest's ownership, the villa has a wine cellar and a screening room. Including the guest house, the property has six bedrooms and 6 1/2 bathrooms. A tennis court, a swimming pool and mature trees complete the grounds. Seacrest, 35, has hosted "American Idol" since 2002.

Spiky-haired "American Idol" host Ryan Seacrest announced Wednesday that he'll soon start taping a daily TV show live from the Hollywood & Highland complex in Hollywood. Los Angeles Mayor James K. Hahn, who was on hand for the announcement, touted the news as a major economic coup for the city and as further evidence of an ongoing Hollywood revival.

The 59th Annual Emmy Awards will have a touch of the biggest show on television after all -- "American Idol" host Ryan Seacrest was tapped Monday to front this year's ceremonies. "I've covered the Emmys before from many different angles, and I'm thrilled, honored and excited to be hosting it this year," Seacrest said in a brief phone interview Monday afternoon. "With my schedule, there's always that final check to make sure I could do it all, but with the Emmys you make the time."
