"It'll take me a long time before all the stress goes away," Dumm, 51, said in an interview with The Times. "It'll take me a long time before I get my life back." A Superior Court jury this week deadlocked on allegations that Dumm seduced a 17-year-old high school football player last summer, leading a judge to dismiss criminal charges against her.

Capping an investigation that has rocked Burbank schools, the football coach who originally disclosed the Salle Dumm sex scandal was charged Thursday with failing to report the middle-aged fund-raiser's alleged seduction of a 17-year-old football player to proper authorities. John Hazelton, former Burbank High School varsity head coach, became the third person charged with a crime in the scandal.

At the request of the defense attorney, a judge Thursday postponed a preliminary hearing for the Burbank school fund-raiser charged with having sex with a high school football player. Municipal Judge Rand Rubin delayed the preliminary hearing until Feb. 22 for Salle Dumm, the 50-year-old president of the Burbank Educational Foundation, who police say promised the 17-year-old money for his team if he returned to her bed the night after their first encounter.

A 50-year-old woman offered a 17-year-old Burbank High School football player money for his team's athletic program in return for sex, according to allegations in court documents.
