The autopsy for a Grammy-award winning art director killed when a car driven by Salma Hayek's brother crashed found that the passenger died from the impact of the collision. Ian Cuttler Sala, 43, of New York died of multiple traumatic injuries from Sunday's crash, said Ed Winter, spokesman for the Los Angeles County coroner's office. Coroner's officials ruled the wreck an accident, but Los Angeles police said excessive speed and the winding road may have been factors. Sami Hayek, 40, was driving a Ford GT supercar in Beverly Crest on Sunday afternoon when he lost control on a curvy stretch of Sunset Boulevard near Mapleton Drive, crossed into the westbound lanes and collided with a Toyota Tacoma pickup truck.

The man who was killed Sunday when Salma Hayek's brother crashed his sports car in Beverly Crest was identified Tuesday as Grammy Award-winning art director Ian Cuttler Sala. Sala, 43 , is from New York City and his parents arrived this week in Los Angeles from Mexico, said Lt. Fred Corral of the Los Angeles County coroner's office. Corral said investigators will examine Sala on Tuesday to begin to determine his exact cause of death. Sala was a passenger in 40-year-old Sami Hayek's Ford GT as he was driving eastbound on a winding stretch of Sunset Boulevard near Mapleton Drive at about 4:20 p.m. when he lost control and crossed into the street's westbound lanes, colliding with a truck, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

In an interview with InStyle magazine, Salma Hayek acknowledges that people think she's beautiful, but she says she doesn't work at it. "I have never tried to be as beautiful as I can be," she said (making the rest of us feel like crumpled-up napkins). "I could do a lot more -- exercise, or not eat dessert. ... I could make bigger efforts. I don't think my first priority in life has ever been beauty. " The interview is in the July issue, on newsstands Friday. Excessive speed and the winding road may be factors in the fatal crash involving Salma Hayek's brother, Los Angeles police said. His passenger, Ian Cuttler Sala, died in the crash.  Los Angeles police Lt. In exactly one week, Los Angeles will wake up with a newly elected mayor. The lucky leader of 4 million restless campers with cracked sidewalks could be Wendy Greuel, the business-suited Valley kid who worked for Mayor Tom Bradley and President Clinton and would be the first female mayor in city history. Or it could be Eric Garcetti, who seems to have done everything in his 42 years except pitch for the Dodgers and kayak to Borneo, and whose adopted daughter may one day celebrate both a bat mitzvah and a quinceañera . Last week, I wrote about a Greuel visit to Tolliver's barbershop in South Los Angeles, where she was relaxed and sharp in front of a crowd that thinks she's the one. Today I'll report on my outing with her opponent, who, like Greuel, helped create some of the city's problems but now promises to deliver peace and prosperity to one and all. L.A. ELECTIONS 2013: Sign up for our email newsletter When Garcetti walked into a Westwood Village pizza parlor late Monday night, he was not recognized until after he'd selected artichokes, olives, onions and peppers as toppings.

PARIS -- Although Morrissey played on the soundtrack, Gloria Estefan and the Miami Sound Machine played in my mind when I saw the spring-summer 2013 Paris Fashion Week collection from Balmain's 27-year-old creative director Olivier Rousteing, who presented a love letter to 1990s style: leather bras, high-rise trousers, oversize hoop earrings and all. The inspiration: 1990s Latin cool; Miami street rappers. The look: Cropped jackets with big shoulders, midriff-baring tops and full cut, peg leg pants.

"Arrested Development" fans, the wait is (almost) over: The cult favorite will make its highly anticipated return next spring with at least 10 episodes - possibly more. The news was confirmed by a Netflix representative. Rumors of an "Arrested Development" revival have surfaced repeatedly ever since the critically beloved but ratings-challenged sitcom was canceled by Fox in 2006. Last year, Mitchell Hurwitz and the entire cast reunited for the first time at the New Yorker Festival, and announced plans for a new, limited-run season and a possible movie.

For nearly a decade, actress Salma Hayek and her production partner, José Tamez, have been trying to launch a mini-studio that caters to the Latino audience. They're finally getting some traction, thanks in part to the success of "Ugly Betty," the popular television show they produce for ABC that is based on a Colombian soap opera, "Yo Soy Betty, la Fea," and "Frida," the 2002 biography of artist Frida Kahlo in which Hayek also starred.
