San Gabriel City Hall on West Mission Drive will close temporarily for earthquake and handicapped-access improvements, and city operations will be moved to another location in the interim. The temporary City Hall will open Monday at noon at 606 W. Las Tunas Drive. To allow for the move, City Hall will close on Friday, but city employees can be reached during the move at (818) 308-2800. The renovation is expected to take six months to a year.

After almost a year of repairs, renovations and seismic upgrading, the San Gabriel City Hall offices on West Mission Drive will soon reopen, the city announced Monday. Constructed in 1923, the City Hall building sustained severe damage in the 1994 Northridge earthquake, officials said.
