City Atty. Richard K. Denhalter announced this week that he is leaving the city to take a job in San Diego. Denhalter, who has worked for the city since March 1992, said he has accepted a position as chief deputy county counsel for San Diego County and will begin work there Feb. 10. "San Juan is just a wonderful place to work," said Denhalter, 49. "That's a little hard to leave." Before coming to San Juan Capistrano, Denhalter held city attorney positions in the Bay Area and for Placer County.
