Santa Fe Springs is taking city commuters for a ride. The city recently began running vans between the recently opened Norwalk / Santa Fe Springs Transportation Center and job sites in Santa Fe Springs. Dubbed the Metro Express, the ride costs $1 each way and runs three trips each morning and evening. Since service began this month, the van has provided about 20 passengers a day with door-to-door service between the Metrolink station and workplaces.
