At least 51 schoolchildren in northern England were injured Thursday when the bus they were traveling in crashed while trying to pass under a bridge that was too low, medical officials said. They said 17 of the children suffered relatively serious injuries after the top half of the double-decker bus was ripped off in the crash near the town of Runcorn, about 170 miles northwest of London.
