A California state court has cleared the way for Miramax Film Corp. to pursue financial claims against German film distributor Scotia International. In April, Miramax sought to collect millions of dollars in license fees and royalties from Scotia International. Last week, the court rejected Scotia's request to block the claims. A German film distributor took Miramax Film Corp. to court Monday, accusing the Walt Disney Co. subsidiary of breaching its contract. California Solana Beach: The seaside community kicks off the summer with the Fiesta del Sol, June 4-5. In honor of this year's "Decades of Music" theme, bands representing each decade from the 1970s to the present will perform both days, including Goldfish (1990s) and the Young Dubliners (2000s). Arts and crafts vendors will line the streets leading into Fletcher Cove, where international food, a beer garden, children's games and music run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.
