Salt Lake prosecutors re-interviewed two 16-year-old girls who claim that they had sex with several Portland Trail Blazers last weekend. Sources close to the investigation said prosecutors are concerned that police may have glossed over initial statements by one of the girls that she was frightened and intimidated into having sex with the players. They are also angry at police for going public with a recommendation that no charges be filed before screening the case with prosecutors.

Criminal charges won't be filed against members of the Portland Trail Blazers who had an alleged sex party with two 16-year-old girls, Salt Lake City police said Wednesday. "Our investigation indicates that the females involved in this incident informed the ballplayers that they were 18 years of age, and they did in fact consent to sexual contact," the police said in a news release.
