A North Hollywood couple whose 5-year-old son bled to death after having his tonsils removed in August filed suit Friday against two San Fernando Valley doctors and the hospital where the surgery was performed. The lawsuit, filed in Burbank Superior Court, alleges negligence and infliction of emotional distress and seeks $1 million in damages on behalf of Leticia and Dean Segal, whose son, Dean Jr., died Aug. 4, the day after the surgery.
