Oscar-winning rapper Juicy J has sold his Sherman Oaks house for $1.82 million, the Multiple Listing Service shows. The Tuscan-style home, built in 1955 but entirely remodeled, has a two-story entry; a family room with a wet bar and stone fireplace; a kitchen with stainless-steel appliances and island; a master bedroom suite with a balcony and sitting area; a master bathroom with a fireplace, spa tub and steam shower; and maid's quarters....

  P ink is taking another shot at selling a home she owns in Sherman Oaks, this time priced at $3.499 million. The three-time Grammy winner, who sang "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" at the Oscars this year, listed the gated property at $4 million three years ago or for lease at $8,500 a month. She ended up with a tenant instead of a buyer. The two-story home has been leased out for as much as $10,000 a month. The Spanish-style house, built in 1946, features hand-hewn double entry doors and a two-story foyer.

Actress Kaley Cuoco, who plays the neighbor of two socially inept physicists on "The Big Bang Theory," has listed her Sherman Oaks home at $995,000. The gated Spanish-style house was built in 1937 but has been updated. Features include distressed hardwood floors, French doors that open to a covered patio and interior arches between living spaces. There are three bedrooms and three bathrooms in the 2,171-square-foot home. Cuoco, 25, has starred on "The Big Bang Theory" since 2007.

A power failure in Sherman Oaks is affecting about 1,000 homes and knocked out traffic signals,  Los Angeles Department of Water and Power officials said Saturday. The outage occurred at 7:22 a.m., according to DWP spokesman Albert Rodriguez.  He could not say when the power will be restored, but at about 8:30 a.m., the DWP tweeted: "Power outage Sherman Oaks: all power to be restored within the hour. Thank you for your patience. " A City News Service reporter in the area said traffic signals on Van Nuys Boulevard near Ventura Boulevard were not working.

"Let's Make a Deal" host Wayne Brady has listed his home in the Sherman Oaks at $2.2 million. The Mediterranean-style house has floor-to-ceiling living room windows, a home theater and a master suite with a built-in media center and a sitting area. The 5,468-square-home has five bedrooms and five bathrooms. The actor, singer and comedian, who started hosting the revival of "Let's Make a Deal" in 2009, is also known for his role on the comedy improv show "Whose Line Is It Anyway?"

The gated Spanish-style house, built in 1946, features hand-hewn double entry doors and a two-story foyer. The 4,434-square-foot home has four bedrooms and five bathrooms. The three-bedroom, two-bathroom home has a fireplace, skylight and French doors in the living room. There are valley, canyon and treetop views. A retired LAPD homicide detective pleaded guilty to manslaughter in connection with the fatal beating of his wife in Hawaii seven years ago, authorities said Monday. Dan DeJarnette, 59, who was arrested at his Big Island home in May, pleaded guilty March 15 to manslaughter while under extreme emotional distress. He faces up to 20 years in prison in connection with the slaying of his wife, 56-year-old Yu DeJarnette, whose body was found in November 2006 on a lava embankment about 20 feet from the couple's home in Ka'u on the southern end of the island.

A vintage 1950s ranch-style on a quiet street in Sherman Oaks, the original home sported a multitude of small rooms, narrow doorways and traditional brick fireplaces. A year and a half ago, Brentwood-based designer Nick Berman bought this two-bedroom-plus-den house and began revamping the claustrophobic layout and avocado-and-gold decor.
