Shipper.com has launched a service designed to give online shoppers the opportunity to receive products the same day that they purchase them from a Web retailer. The Industry-based company, backed by Pasadena venture capital firm Idealab, has warehouses in Los Angeles and Fremont, Calif., that would deliver products to those local areas. Company officials said it hopes to spend $150 million to $200 million over the next two years to open 20 facilities worldwide. Shipper.
