A Japanese tourist was killed and another tourist injured when their parachutes tangled as they were sky-diving over the desert, officials said. Seiji Watanabe, 24, of Chiba was pronounced dead at Antelope Valley Hospital Medical Center in Lancaster, where he was flown by helicopter after the New Year's Eve accident at the popular sky-diving area, officials said.
