In a rare public glimpse of the vulnerable side of this city's wealthy gambling Establishment, the daughter of casino mogul Steven A. Wynn testified Wednesday that kidnapers photographed her in her underwear and threatened to distribute the pictures nationally if her father contacted police instead of paying her ransom. Kevin Wynn, 27, described being grabbed in her kitchen by two masked men last July, blindfolded, posed and photographed with a tall assailant whom she could not see.

Two men are on trial here for allegedly kidnaping the daughter of casino mogul Steven A. Wynn, but Spyro Kemble's reputation is on trial, too. The Irvine real estate broker has been accused of being a figure in the July 26 kidnaping of Kevin Wynn, 27, who was released unharmed after her father--the chairman of Mirage Resorts Inc.--paid a $1.45-million ransom.

Ray Cuddy bought a $20,000 watch, schemed over the cash purchase of a $200,000 car and hid $500,000 in ransom money in the garage of a longtime friend following the Kevin Wynn kidnaping, a witness testified. Cuddy has been identified by the government as the ringleader in the July 26 kidnaping of the daughter of casino mogul Steve Wynn. Kevin Wynn was released unharmed two hours after her father paid a $1.45-million ransom.

More than 800 guests played a high society version of "The Dating Game" on Saturday at the March of Dimes seventh annual Bid for Bachelors Gala. A former Newport Beach health club manager was charged with extortion Monday after his arrest in the ransom kidnaping last week of Las Vegas gambling mogul Steve Wynn's daughter. Ray Marion Cuddy, 47, was arrested Sunday by a group of 14 officers from the FBI and Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department when he arrived at Newport Imports to pay the $70,000 final installment on the purchase of a new, white Ferrari 512TR. Cuddy, a slight, silver-haired man with a deep tan, was charged in U.S.

JENNIFER LOPEZ, who starred in the biographical movie about slain tejano singer Selena, and her husband, model Ojani Noa, have leased a country French-style compound in the Beverly Hills area for a year at $8,000 a month, sources say. Lopez, 26, became the highest-paid Latina actress when she received a $1-million salary for playing Selena Quintanilla Perez, the adored Latina singer who was shot to death at age 23 in 1995 by the president of her fan club.

California Angels pitcher CHUCK FINLEY has purchased an Orange County home site of almost an acre for about $2 million, sources say. He bought the property in the guard-gated community of Pelican Hill in Newport Coast, a new, 9,400-acre-plus development between Newport Beach and Laguna Beach. He is said to be planning to build a Mediterranean-style, 12,000-square-foot house there, with city and ocean views. "He loves to play golf, and there are two golf courses at Pelican Hill," a source said.
