The IPO Network maintains a World Wide Web site that provides individual investors with access to financial information over the Internet. The Internet Preview Channel serves as a clearinghouse for televised financial reports of publicly traded companies that maintain investor relations sites on the Internet and World Wide Web.

StarTronix International Inc., a multilevel marketing company that sells home technology equipment, said it has laid off 47 employees to cut costs while searching for an infusion of funding. The cuts affected nearly 60% of the Irvine-based company's 82 employees. A company spokeswoman said that most of the layoff victims were customer service representatives and technical support workers.

Oakland-based Clorox Co. said it has received about 98.8% of the outstanding shares in its tender offer to acquire the car-care products company Mission Viejo-based Armor All Products Corp. for $19.09 a share, or about $400 million. . . . * Merritt Farren has been named vice president and general counsel for the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim. He will be responsible for litigation, contractual matters and other legal and business affairs. Farren succeeds Rick Clair, who has joined the legal department at Buena Vista Home Video in Burbank. Prior to his appointment, Farren had been vice president of business and legal affairs at Disney Interactive and Disney Online.

* Thomas Redwitz will join Taylor Woodrow Homes California Ltd. in Laguna Hills as a senior project manager today. He succeeds Adrian Foley, who left Taylor Woodrow in January to open a new division for another home builder. Redwitz will be responsible for all projects and development at Taylor Woodrow. He was formerly a vice president of development for the Irvine Co., where he worked from 1984 to 1987 and again since 1990.
